CAC (Contemporary Art Center) gallery volunteer talkers will lead visitors to explore the exhibition together.

Art Bus 2016 * Applications are based on a school as a unit

This project is a combined program of appreciation of the exhibition and workshop for expressing one’s feelings in words, designed for elementary and junior high school children in Mito City. The museum provides a shuttle bus for the transit service of participants. They are divided into small groups, and each group makes a guided tour with trained staff, mostly university students.
Dates: Jan. 25 (Wed.), 26 (Thur.), 27 (Fri.), Feb.1 (Wed.), 2 (Thur.) and 3 (Fri.)
Time: 9:30-16:00 with a 90-minute exhibition tour as a rule each day.

High School Students Weeks 2016

It is our annual free-admission month to high school students and others in the same age group. During this month, the café opens in the gallery. Visitors are welcome to visit the café and the lounge, run mostly by high school and college students. A variety of different lecturers will hold workshops related to the ongoing exhibition.
