The setting is London in the 1630's. Jack, formerly an actor and now an acting trainer at the Globe Theatre, attempts to put on a performance of Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida" using adolescent actors in order to pay back some loans. The drama, depicting the interplay of the ulterior motives of the various protagonists, makes this a heavy masterpiece that is worth watching in the autumn, which is considered the "season for art" for Japan.
