Terunobu Fujimori: Architecture with Nature, and "ROJO"ROJO Society

March 11 (Sat.),2017

ROJO Society was formed in 1986 with key members, Genpei Akasegawa, Terunobu Fujimori, Shinbo Minami, Tetsuo Matsuda, and Joji Hayashi to observe, collect and appreciate everything in the surroundings from a manhole, chimney, store sign, bill to architectural pieces, and to find funny things on the streets aimlessly and unintentionally. In this project, a general meeting of Rojo Society is held to rediscover attractive aspects of Mito City through a lecture by the society member and the review of a rojo observation workshop held earlier in Mito.
