Afternoon Concert
Genzoh Takehisa (Fortepiano)BACH SPIELTE AUF DIESEM KLAVIER

June 17 (Wed.),2015

Making its first appearance at the ATM Concert Hall this time is a reproduction of a piano built by Gottfried Silbermann (1683-1753), famous as the maker of keyboard instruments played by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and his sons. ATM's Afternoon Concert Series offers listeners a rare opportunity to hear the beautiful tones of an instrument that is the only representative of its type in Japan. It will be played by Genzoh Takehisa, a specialist in Bach keyboard music, who will also add commentary to his performance.

Genzoh Takehisa, Fortepiano (Kenta Fukamachi, 2007, after Gottfried Silbermann, 1747)
