Kyuhee Park Guitar Recital

The "new star" of the guitar world, Kyuhee Park (b. 1985 in South Korea), has made international audiences fall in love with the perfection of her playing. Raised in both South Korea and Japan, Park graduated at the top of her class from the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts in 2014. Her talent has drawn the passionate gaze of audiences around the world, having won numerous grand prizes and awards in international guitar competitions in Germany, Belgium, Spain, and South Korea, as well as performing at many guitar festivals worldwide, including one at Carnegie Hall in 2012. Her rich musicality, which has entranced audiences, employs a beautiful performance style described by some as the "tremolo of an angel." Her September recital at Art Tower Mito will put the spotlight on deeply colorful guitar works from Spain and South America.
