The first appearance at Art Tower Mito by the Swiss organist and harpsichordist Rudolf Lutz (b. 1951), who also serves as artistic director of the J.S. Bach-Stiftung in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The all-Bach program at the August performance at ATM will let listeners enjoy the multitude of colorful tones of Bach’s organ masterpieces, including “Air on the G String.” He also plans to involve members of the audience as they decide upon the melody to serve as the theme of an impromptu performance of his on the organ.
